LA POPULAR TABERNA, this is a very small and cosy Spanish tapas bar with some extraordinary dishes like “Patatas bravas” (but with a black garlic sauce), “Huevos Rotos con jamon”, “Croquetas de jamon iberico”, “Anchovas”, ..
Opening hours: daily, 17:00-23:00, closed on Tuesdays and Sundays.

BALAGAN ERICEIRA, this beach house, at Praia do Sul has an amazing view over the ocean! Here you can go for a coffee, smoothie, cocktail or a snack, downstairs, upstairs you have the restaurant and an ocean-front rooftop terrace where you can enjoy your drinks and dinner. They invite you to explore a Middle Eastern cuisine inspired by Portugal’s land. Typically here is the MEZZE, you also have some vegan classics and they change the menu often with NEW FLAVOURS. My favourite here, the “Squids & chips” ( sweet potato fries with amba aioli..

MAR DAS LATAS WINE & FOOD, this place is close to Praia dos Pescadores. While you are here, tasting their Portuguese wines, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset. They have a wine bar, where you can eat some tapas, on the right side and a restaurant on the left side. They serve you dishes based on Portuguese traditional food but with a very modern and delicious twist. There are starters to share, there’s fish but also meat lovers will be happy here.
Maybe the most fancy one we have in Ericeira but for us comparing price/quality very good!

UNI SUSHI, if you love sushi, I would recommend this place! For lunch or dinner. The first Japanese restaurant in Ericeira. Niguiri, Temaki, Hossomaki, Uramaki, Hot sushi, Sashimi, Gunkan, Teppan yaki, a combination of everything.. MMMMMM.. They also have gluten free and vegan options.

TI MATILDE, Fish or shellfish lover? These are the specialities from this restaurant with sea view! Do you want to eat some typically food from Ericeira? They serve the traditional rice stews like ‘Arroz de marisco’, ‘Arroz de polvo’… or ‘Sapateira’ (King crab) You can go for a grilled fish of your choice but you also find here lobster, clams, mussels, shrimps, fish soup,…

You should try the different Argentinian empanadas! They also have a great Pork sandwish, Portuguese style Provoleta, delicious desserts.. and yummie cocktails!! And important , a very friendly staff! Possible to sit outside or inside.
PEPE VERDE,
Best pizza in town! Go for the ‘Pizzes della casa’ and try other flavours like a ‘Portofino’ with pumpkin cream, truffles paste, rosemary and parmesan. Or our favourite, the ‘Genova’ with eggplant, homemade pesto, mozarella and parmesan.. Not into the special ones? No worries, they also have the classis ones. Try the ‘Boscaiola’ or the ‘4 Formaggi’!
